Cultural Exchange Fund

Designs for the Cultural Exhange Fund commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The scope of my work covered designing the logotype of the programme, comprehensive graphic designs for a publication series, as well as the typesetting and preparation for print of all the components. The designs were part of my collaboration with Homework.

The Cultural Exchange Fund (CEF) is an international programme aimed at promoting cooperation between Polish cultural institutions and similar institutions in the Donor Countries: Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. A multi-page ring-bound brochure was made as a summary of the year-long programme.

The motif of the moving wheel used in the CEF logotype recurs in the printed materials. It symbolises the abundance and diversity of cultural initiatives supported by the Fund, as well as the exchange of experiences at the events organised by the beneficiaries of the programme.

A Cultural Dictionary in book form was also created. It contained vocabulary related to areas supported by the CEF, translated into the languages of the Donor Countries.

A bulletin was issued regularly during the programme to inform about current recruitment and selected beneficiaries’ activities: exhibitions, concerts, and workshops—financed from the funds gathered within the CEF.
