The Green Brigade children’s book
An educational illustrated children’s book about ecology with simple tips on how to care for the environment. Nine fairy tales told in an attractive and straightforward form educate children ages 3 to 6 on climate change and sustainable energy.
Making children the main characters aims at nurturing a sense of responsibility for the surrounding world in young readers. The simple, synthetic character of the illustrations reinforces the message while leaving room for imagination.
The book was published in 10,000 free copies and was distributed by the Ministry of Environment in kindergartens, among other places. In addition, the Ministry has made the entire book available on its website in PDF format so that every parent can print it at home for their child. That is why the book was designed in A4 format.
